I came upon a great idea today.
We all know this "stimulus" bill isn't going to stimulate anything other than our debt and possibly a few hundred temporary jobs. Why bother giving small businesses tax cuts & helpful credits for hiring... when they can't afford to hire anyone else and are already cutting back on current employee hours? None of us have money to support businesses when we can barely make our own ends meet. A real stimulus would be to repeal Obamacare.
My great idea is for the Republicans to agree to "vote" on his bill. Though of course, a democrat is going to have to sponsor it first to make it eligible for a vote- which nobody has stepped up to do yet. No surprise there, I wouldn't want my name on it either if I was trying to get re-elected.
So when it comes up for vote, they all pull and Obama and vote "present." Let the democrats vote for it. If it passes, then whatever (doesn't) happen will be 100% in the laps of the democrats next fall at election time. I'm done compromising with these fools. They have no clue. Let them sink their own ship. Any RINOs who want to vote for it, they can... so we can kick them out too. They're useless!
.....anyone else hear crickets when trying to find CNN or the nightly news reporting on the republican gain of Weiner's seat? First time in 88 years held by a Rep. This would be HUGE news if it was reversed. The bias is just overwhelming.
