3 things you should know about Islam

Watch and learn

Chris Christie for President!

This woman should move out of the country right now. Christie is the man, I'm glad that someone is standing up to the liberals with facts!

Qur'an burning

This is definitely one of the bigger news stories in the last couple of weeks... and I wanted to share some thoughts.  Just like building the mosque, nobody really questions that this pastor has the right to burn these books.  It may not be the smartest thing to do, but it is legal by all US laws.

Now, why is it that we are so offended by this as Christians?  Of course, because most of us are a calm, docile type of believer and we do not believe in inflicting unnecessary harm or undue hatred.  Burning a pile of holy books doesn't accomplish much other than to incite the terrorists and extremists something to gather around in their anti-Christianity and 'anti-anything that is not Muslim' wars they've created.

But, why aren't we supporting him for this?  He is the crazy one who wants to do this, why are we all so scared of Muslims?  Sure the extreme Muslims are quite scary and the last thing we want is anything close to another 9/11, but why don't we stand up to them?  We should let them know we don't believe in what they're learning and what they're teaching, right?  This is the question my husband posed to me.

I believe it is because we have nobody leading the charge.  Our president surely doesn't give a damn about peaceful countries, he's basically told our allies to 'screw off' while he tries to appease all the crazy, terrorist-aiding, Shari'a law abiding countries.  If our President and the country's most visible leaders can't stand up to the extremists, how are Americans going to get up the nerve to do it?  Our President actually thinks building a Mosque near ground zero is okay!  Clearly, he must not have much memory of 9/11 or have known anyone associated with those who were injured or killed.  We need someone to set an example, not to be a follower/appeaser.

If GW was in office, I believe there would be a different reaction to the current Muslim terrorist states.  We would completely ignore them, which is what we should do.  If you get beat up on the playground, are you going to go over to Big Billy Bob and ask him to come over this weekend?  NO!  You're going to stay as far away from him as possible.  The President has no idea how to handle foreign affairs and has no idea what is in the best interests of this country.  He has made that perfectly clear with his tax and spend policies, and his failed politics.

95% of Christians are speaking out against this pastor and his small church, yet a mosque being built as a symbol of "conquering" NYC and the twin towers area, and we barely hear a peep from believers.  Where are all the non-extreme Muslims at?  Why aren't they protesting the mosque?  I've heard many times there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, I'm starting to believe it as there are very VERY few people speaking out against the extremist Muslims.

My personal thought is this pastor will cause more harm than good in the long run, but maybe not if Americans stand up and say "look, we can draw pictures of Mohammed, we can burn Qur'ans, we have freedom of religion and freedom of speech here and you can't take it away from us."  I only hope that day when we can stand up to these minority groups happens sooner rather than later.

How did Congress manage to spend more money during their vacation?

Even when Congress isn't supposed to be wasting our tax dollars while on their wonderfully long vacations, Pelosi calls them back to vote on yet another bailout.  I thought the bleeding would stop for a few months while they are away but alas, the democrats felt the need to spend spend spend some more.  They clearly have an addiction that needs professional help.

$26 billion.  Paid for by 'future cuts to food stamps' which democrats turned around and said they will fight to make sure it doesn't happen.  So they're trying to make unions happy to vote for them this fall, but fearing they will lose the food stamp crowd, try to appease them as well.  What a crock.  Just tell us the truth- this will be added to the deficit.

$16 billion for Medicaid, which is just failing and failing.  States can't stop overspending and nobody seems even remotely concerned about the payouts being so much more than the intakes.  The Heritage Foundation states that 30 states actually added money to their budget assuming the bailouts would continue.  Where is the individual responsibility here???  20 states wind up taking the fall for 30 who can't get their financial houses in order.  Sorry, but to those 30 states I would say you are on your own.  $10 billion for the union/teacher bailouts.  This will 'save 100K jobs' - so you're telling me you have to pay teachers $100,000 EACH???  That is garbage.  A good job in any other non-union industry is $50,000.  Bring government and union wages in line with real folks and then we'll be able to hire nearly every unemployed soul in the USA.   The average private sector employee, with benefits added in, makes something in the 50-60K range.  The average government employee makes 110-125K with benefits added in.  Nearly DOUBLE!  No wonder why this country is quickly falling into debt hell.  Some moron union boss from the AFL-CIO says we are not running a deficit or in danger of defaulting.  What planet is he from?  You don't need much education to become a union boss, as clearly he didn't have to study economics too much.

More reports coming out that private sector isn't hiring, only government is and that's why the unemployment numbers haven't gone up.  Well duh.  Private sector businesses have NO CLUE what is going to be coming their way in a week, let alone a month, or a year to plan their future.  They're just trying to stay afloat until a clear path is set.  I pray to God that this fall people in this country stand up and find their voices.  We need to take the country back and let businesses know that it's okay to hire- we're not going to double your taxes or add hefty VAT taxes or something of that nature to your business.

I received an email forwarded from my uncle this week discussing a 28th amendment.  A few of the important points from this email:
-Members of Congress can retire after one term and receive the same pay the rest of their lives
-Members of Congress do not pay into Social Security
-Members of Congress are exempt from fear of prosecution for sexual harassment
-Members of Congress are exempt from Healthcare Reform

The point of the email is to propose a new amendment to the constitution:
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."

I don't see why this isn't already in the constitution?  But I wish we could find a way to get it in there as soon as humanly possible.  They cannot possibly understand "normal" people if they're exempt from everything they force upon us!

Side note to Robert Gibbs... put in your two weeks notice, write a book about the inner workings of the Obama administration and come to the right side of politics.  Contact Dick Morris for details on how to switch parties effectively.

Miscellaneous Items

I've got a lot of random items to comment on this morning....

Senate race in PA.  I am from PA so I hold this near and dear to my heart.  Though it was great to see Arlen Specter defeated, it would've been nice for him to win so Toomey would be a shoo-in to office.  As it stands the idiots in this state (mostly the people who live in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh- who are pretty much the only democrats in the entire state) have the race pretty close right now.  The latest Rasmussen poll shows 45% Toomey and 39% Sestak.  While that is higher than recent weeks, it is still uncomforting to know 4 out of 10 PA residents think this guy has their best interests at heart.  8 years of Rendell with Bob 'no backbone' Casey and old man party switching Specter representing us?  Something has to change.  Pittsburgh has been going downhill for DECADES because it has been run by democrats for SIXTY years.   Property taxes are high, we can't sustain public transit (talking point two... why is public transit supposed to be provided by the government?  Why can't it be privatized?), the Pittsburgh public schools are absolutely horrific, there are 3 or 4 neighborhoods that are just horribly crime and poverty ridden where nobody will travel unless they are from there or are really brave- or they get lost.  Sestak voted with Pelosi's agenda 100% of the time, and is now trying to distance himself.  HA.  He supports Cap & Trade, to me that is reason enough not to vote for him.
http://www.toomeyforsenate.com/july/

Failing public transit systems.  There's been a lot of talk in Pittsburgh about our failing public transit system.  Most Pittsburghers drive where they need to go, since the town isn't all that big anymore (300K people or so... down tremendously from 15 years ago) everyone driving isn't a huge issue.  Just two years ago Dan Onorato, the CEO of Allegheny County, imposed a 10% drink tax on poured alcoholic beverages two years ago.  This was to pay for public transit primarily.  They had a higher than predicted revenue the first year, so they lowered it to 7% in 2010.  Now it comes out that over 50 bars/pubs/etc have closed down because they couldn't raise their prices and thus can't afford the basic daily expenses anymore.  One of my favorite dance places was shut down because they failed to pay their taxes.  So now the transit is cutting 35% of their routes this fall because they're underfunded.  THEN WHAT WAS THE DRINK TAX FOR, DAN?  Pittsburgh should allow bidding for a private company to take over mass transit.  I guarantee better service, better rates.  Oh but the democrats won't give up something they can tax us for and use as leverage for increasing spending.  Dan Onorato is running for governor.... oh please Pennsylvanians, do something smart for once.  Don't elect him.

Education System changes.
Obama is pushing to change public education without congressional approval or public knowledge.  I got a notice from The Heritage Foundation about this.  I had NO IDEA all the slimy, skeezy, closed door deals that were going on to fundamentally change the way kids learn.  It's bad enough the history books are edited to show a liberal point of view rather than a truthful point of view.  When it affects millions of children, shouldn't congress and the senate be voting on these things?  Nope, instead they were given bailout money to spend however they want.  Setting national standards and pulling grant money when schools don't hit their standards won't do jack squat.  The 90-percentile from the elite schools will only try to hit the 75 percentile government standard.  The horrendous schools drag down that average. What will help schools improve?  School choice and vouchers.  Let the parents choose where to send their kids.  Letting the market decide will surely weed out bad schools and bad teachers.  Letting bureaucrats decide is a horrible idea.  I am all for abolishing the public education system and letting schools privatize.  Let them charge enrollment fees and have parents buy the books the kids use, etc etc.  Eliminate property taxes that are a burden to many- especially those who don't have children and don't need to subsidize failing schools.  I have a very modest 3 bedroom 1 bath house on about a 1/4 acre lot.  My school taxes are $3,500 a year.  I do not yet have kids, but plan to.  I am completely fine paying this amount as tuition or enrollment so I can send my kids to a good district.

Sherrod v. Breitbart.  Apparently Shirley is saying she plans to sue Breitbart.  I sure hope she plans to sue the NAACP and the White House too, since the NAACP is the source for the video (as far as we know), and the President forced her to resign.  Oh wait, that's right, she's a democrat... why would she bother to throw her own under the bus?  What a hypocrite.

Okay my window replacement guy is here, so this was more abbreviated than I anticipated. :)

Chris Matthews knows bupkis

Paul Ryan is an excellent conservative mind.  I love hearing his interviews since he always has a strong answer to questions which try to put him in a corner.  Here is a clip where he explains that 75% of the "rich" are small businesses filing as individuals.  This is where jobs are created, this is the foundation of America.  This is what democrats want to tax because they "owe" it to the US for being the greatest country ever.  It's too bad the liberals just do not understand or believe these things, despite the overwhelming economic facts.

Activist Judges vs. Constitutional Judges

In America, as of July 28, 2010, it is legal to be illegal.  Ms. Susan Bolton, appointee by the great William Jefferson Clinton, has decided to vote based on the rumors and spin she hears from liberal media, instead of the constitution.  She has chosen activism over fairness, common sense, and truth.

This comes as no surprise to most of us who have half a brain, we knew the probability she would rule in AZ's favor was slim.  But something in us conservatives always holds onto hope that people will do the right thing.  Right thing = uphold a law that for all intents and purposes just reiterates a federal law already on the books.  The government can't do their job (no surprise there), Arizona wants to do it themselves, and they are sued.  What kind of backasswards world is this?  In any case, always looking for the silver lining... she has probably greatly increased the odds of republican victories in the house and senate this fall.  For that we can be thankful.  If Bush had challenged a state law that was nearly a carbon copy of a federal law that supported liberal policies, there would be cries for impeachment. Although when he sneezed, the libtards cried for impeachment so he just couldn't win.

I am a white female.  If I am pulled over for speeding (example only- I may be young but I rarely speed- I don't understand why people treat the speed LIMIT as the speed MINIMUM) I have to show ID.  If I don't have ID on me I have something like 24 hours to go to the police station and prove who I am, and more than likely get a ticket.  Why should illegals not have to do this?? What is next- no ID when showing up to vote or registering to vote?  Probably likely the way the liberals are going...

There is absolutely NO evidence in this bill that there will be racial profiling.  In fact, it strictly prohibits that very thing.  Her ruling was based on the "assumption" that there would be profiling, among other things.  Just absolutely ridiculous to rule based on assumptions rather than cold hard truth and facts.  I say they should change the wording that US citizens carry proof too.  I think most of us would be MORE than happy to oblige to carrying an extra paper with us to show we live here- and then ask EVERY SINGLE PERSON for their paperwork when you're being stopped or questioned about something else.

So what will Arizona do now?  With an initial decision in the books, it will probably be hard to overturn though not impossible.  I like Ms. Brewer a lot and I don't think she'll give up the fight.  So I say write another law, give it a new name and number, but have the same things.  Maybe change a word or two.  Sort of like the President has done with the oil drilling moratorium!  First bill struck down?  Okay, lets write another one almost the same just with a small change.  Struck down again?  Okay, so we can change 3 more words and release it again.  THAT is what Arizona should do- give the President a taste of his own medicine.  Medicine that is currently killing industry and livelihoods in the Gulf, raising our dependence on foreign oil, and giving more talking points for the cap & tax program.

What would happen if you snuck across the border in....
North Korea?  12 years of hard labor.
Iran? Detained indefinitely.
Afghanistan? Shot.
Saudi Arabia? Jailed.
China? Nobody really knows.
Venezuela? You are branded a spy- good luck.
Mexico? Jail for 2 years.
Canada? You are fined and occasionally jailed.
Cuba? Spend the rest of your days in political prison
United States? A job, driver's license, your kids born here can become citizens, free healthcare no matter what ER you go to (this is assuming you don't pay the bill they send of course), welfare, food stamps, subsidies for rent/housing, free education, you can speak to someone who speaks Spanish or request documents in Spanish anywhere in America, a lobbyist working for your 'rights' in Washington, the best military in the world to defend the country you snuck into, the right to carry the flag of your country without condemnation or jailing while you cry that America doesn't treat you fairly or respect you.

I love this country because we are generous and kind.  But we have to be strong and defend ourselves from this onslaught of illegal immigration.  99% of Americans I'm sure support legal immigration, that's how we continue to grow instead of having declining populations like a lot of civilized countries.  But we have to show our strength and enforce our policies.  Lord knows the President wants to apologize for everything we've done in the past.  Off topic a minute: my ancestors were slave traders in the 1700s before they came to the US for good in the early 1800s.  We lost several family lines because they were thrown off slave ships to make more room for slaves and couldn't swim!  I don't demand an apology for what happened 300 years ago, and nobody who is living today should as none of us had to deal with these horrible morally incomprehensible times.  Mr. President needs to grow a backbone and start standing up to people, and countries, and stop bowing to foreign leaders and sign treaties where the other country wins and we concede everything.  Appeasing his far left lunatic fringe buddies is getting out of hand.  Try to talk with and listen to and help mainstream Americans!

An Inconvenient Truth

Howard Dean shows the true feelings of the far-left liberal mindset. Blame Fox, be scared of Glenn Beck, and continue to lie again and again and again until someone actually believes that your lies are the truth. He absolutely refuses to listen to Chris state the facts. Unbelievable. How does this loon have any credibility?

Race in America

A hot topic these after the Shirley Sherrod fiasco of the last few days.

This morning I listened to the Today Show before leaving for work... I didn't mean to, my husband just was listening to the NBC local news station and it clicked on while I was getting ready. I went to work fired up to say the least.

Last night I was watching O'Reilly's talking points. I try to catch them to see what he has to say and watch occasionally when I have time (love Dennis Miller so try to catch his interviews). Bill apologized for wrongly commenting on the story, saying he thought if the President would fire this woman he didn't really feel it necessary to delve into her comments further. Someone pointed out that they also sued AZ without reading the immigration reform bill so maybe he'd better continue checking his sources. In any case, I heard Bill's apology and saw the quotes from the News Exec at FNC saying to 'take their time and get the facts straight' before reporting.

So this BIMBO gets on the Today Show clearly with one goal in mind- smearing Fox. She's claiming they got the story all wrong, accusing them of being anti-this, anti-that, and saying they haven't apologized. What are her sources for this???? I watched the news broadcasts the night before and specifically saw all the things she was claiming FNC did not do. I have blocked NBC for good from my TV. I like Biggest Loser too... but not going to support that kind of blasphemy. Keith Olberman makes me want to vomit, so MSNBC got the boot a long time ago. I wish it was possible to call Comcast and tell them to keep that filth off my screen. I haven't watched any of Sherrod's interviews, but sounds like she's on the same bash-Fox bandwagon, though it seems they were the first to point out that her comments were not racist.

So onto race. I am a white female, so I do not have the luxury of experience with discrimination due to my skin (except when I used to attend rap concerts in my heyday and get heckled a bit for not smoking weed and not getting my nails done being one of the few white girls there). I do have a background of being friends with folks from all "non-white" races thanks to my collegiate years, and in my past had dated men of differing colors and backgrounds. My worst experience was when one of the guys I was dating handed me a picture and said "this is my son" - needless to say that was our last date as I was 17 and not ready for that sort of thing yet. I was a late bloomer.

I have dealt with female discrimination, however and it is not fun. Anyone who deals with it at any level- it is just not acceptable. At my current job one of the guys uses the 4-letter c word, and tells girls to "stop being skirts" regularly. When someone had the gusto to report him, he wound up with a promotion. She left the company soon after. I am a manager, and I can't do my own hiring interviews, I have to take one of the male managers with me. None of the male managers is required to take a "buddy" with them. We listen to a radio station that promotes promiscuity, strip clubs, and regularly interviews porn stars. When I try to change the channel Mr. Woman-hater throws a fit. It's not a female friendly environment at all, and I greatly dislike people assuming I am less of a person because I am a woman. So I would never, ever treat another human being as less of a person just because of a characteristic that they cannot change (well... I guess I could become a man if I went to a really good plastic surgeon... but I'm not interested in years of surgery and the cost involved. And I guess a black lady could get the Michael Jackson treatment and become white... but again, who the heck wants to do that after seeing how distorted poor MJ looked? RIP).

In any case, very very few people in my generation have any racist tendencies whatsoever from what I can tell. There are always some fringe people (ie the New Black Panther who wants all the 'cracker babies' to die), and it seems a bit more prevalent from people who grow up in rural areas and southern areas, but the majority I do not think even see color anymore. The only time I've seen it with President Obama was during his inauguration when I was sitting thinking "this is really cool that a majority of Americans voted for someone with black heritage." Since then, I see a crazy out of touch socialist liberal. If he was purple, I'd think the same.

Political correctness and racial correctness are out of whack in this country. Title IX to make women's sports equal to men's was a great initial idea. But honestly, women sports are BORING! Please quit taking away fun and exciting male sports to add female sports. Same with affirmative action, it just doesn't seem necessary to me. If people want to see women's rugby, they'll demand it and it can be added when demand is sufficient. Don't take away men's soccer to add women's rugby to 'balance' things out.

Ahh racism in all forms makes me angry all over.

Finally someone young stepping out for conservative values. We're not all old rich men!

Taxes, Taxes, barely make a dime

I understand that rarely do politicians keep their campaign promises. I really thought Barack Obama was going to keep his promise of no new taxes... until his first two months in office when Porkulous was passed and I said, where are we getting $787 billion dollars from? Spending is only part of Obama's plan of destruction, the other is to tax the bejesus out of everyone who doesn't live on unemployment, welfare, or government housing.

Unemployment is the new welfare, and they want unemployment numbers to look low, but in reality be high so that come October when the extensions expire (again), Democrats can use this to get people out to vote for them for extensions (again). I truly think the only jobs Obama wants to have created are government so he can make this country as close to socialist as possible without the real dummies figuring it out.

There are so many tangents I could go off on here about the tax hikes that are embedded in every bit of legislation that goes through Congress.... who by the way has an 11% approval rating. How'd it get so high? Are there really that many uneducated people in America who think they're doing okay? Or was half the polling sample Washington insiders?

Senator DeMint is one of the leading conservative voices, and I love supporting the Senate Conservatives Fund. I hope our dollars do a lot of damage this fall, of course by damage I mean correcting all the damage done in Washington the last 18 months. Senator DeMint supported repealing the death tax, which takes effect again January 2011. Yet the liberals voted the measure down. Do they not realize the only people this helps is the estate attorneys and insurance companies? Everyone else suffers... and the money gets taxed twice. There is nothing fair about this, and quite honestly nothing moral about it... I guess they assume everyone who leaves money behind is "rich" and Obama and the liberals have a vendetta against anyone who is rich (except themselves, of course). Imagine if George Steinbrenner's family had to pay this tax on his Yankee franchise, an "asset" he left behind... they would be forced to sell and dismantle the franchise he built. In no way do I like the Yankees, however I don't think the family should have to pay 55% of the worth back to the federal government just because he passed.

The one issue that strikes me is 1099s. I was a mortgage underwriter and my least favorite loans were contract employees who had dozens of 1099's to go through and calculate income from. Usually these are only required with payments of over $1,200. Now they will be required for $600 and up. Who will this effect? Small businesses... I'm sure Obama thinks it will create jobs by forcing small businesses to hire people just to constantly complete the 1099 forms to send to minor contractors. Of course the most likely scenario is that the businesses will shut down since they can't afford more workers with their already increased taxes and just don't have the time for this. The only jobs this creates are more IRS workers = government employees. Socialism anyone?

Imagine you own a small florist shop in a small town. You make maybe $150,000 revenue each year before overhead, employee costs, taxes, etc are deducted. You hire an independent marketer to do small mail campaigns for $1,000. Before no 1099, now 1099 required. Not only does that person now have to pay taxes on that income, the small business wastes their time having to fill out and file this paper. Then lets think of everyone involved... floral design suppliers, delivery drivers, glassware/vase suppliers, bow suppliers, those who make the wording to go on floral displays. It is probable that the florist uses several different entitites for these materials, and rarely spends over $1,000 at any one place. Now there will be dozens of 1099s to create, which takes time away from the business (or results in working crazy hours), which causes lost profit. No more vacations or golf outings every 8 days like the President gets. This business may not survive. Oh but at least the IRS can continue to hire.

The Tax Foundation says a family of four with two working members who make $85,000 a year will pay about $1,800 more in federal income taxes in 2011 than in 2010. Tax Foundation president Scott Hodge told MSNBC that 'I'm hard pressed to think of another moment in the history of the tax code in which we have had so many provisions expire at the same time impacting so many Americans all at once.'

To those Americans who hate this country, hate what it stands for, and want to create a socialist haven where nobody works hard, everyone has 13 weeks of vacation a year, healthcare is 'free,' and everything is "equal"... there is already a socialist utopia for you. It's called Europe. Quit trying to infiltrate our government here to make it like Europe. LEAVE!

I support the FairTax, and anyone who doesn't obviously hasn't read the book. Or you're too convoluted in your thinking to broaden your horizons. The 47% of Americans who haven't been contributing to paying their federal taxes... it's time to start! No need to raise rates on the wealthy, raise them on those 47%!

Welcome

Hello blog world... over the last several years I've become more and more interested in politics. At the ripe age of 27, that makes me quite the oddball as friends normally want to talk about the newest beer, what movie to see, what a jerk their landlord is, etc. Since I can rarely find anyone to have a spirited debate that includes factual statements, I'm going to take to blogging about current political events.

I am a very strong conservative. The ONLY thing I'm not conservative on is abortion... simply because I DON'T feel it should be a political issue. It is a personal issue. Legalize it and if you can live with your conscience and your God, then do what you have to do. But if you think it's morally reprehensible, then just live by your own ideals and don't have an abortion. The thought of our president supporting late term abortion abhors me though, absolutely no excuse to wait until the third trimester to do something so horrible. I would personally not take the abortion route due to my strong beliefs, though I've never been in a scenario where I had to choose. I do understand the positions those on the other side of the aisle take and why they make the decisions they do. I've had friends with good reasons who have pursued these avenues, some regret it later, others don't.

As for my non-political life, I work in the mortgage industry which has been decimated by government regulation. The company I work for, a private mortgage lender, has not had nearly the problems the "too big to fail" banks have. I've seen the government make up these ridiculous laws to regulate the industry, as always too little too late. My company was already doing these same things several years ago: verifying income, verifying employment, capping broker compensation, etc. My job used to be very fun, but now it's all black and white, no fun grey areas any longer. Thank you Congress! *note sarcasm

I bought a condo when I was 24 (yes, with a down payment), then got a dog, and then my fiancee decided Mom's basement wasn't cutting it for him anymore. So I put my condo up for sale hoping to sell by our wedding... however within 1 week we had a nearly full price offer that was accepted. My second love is home improvement and decorating, I flipped that house from okay to sparkling so it was an easy sale. I made a 10% profit in just two years. We used the proceeds from that to buy a home, with a 20% down payment. I know you're shocked- people under the age of 40 shouldn't be responsible savers and should use FHA for their 97% financing loans.

Right after we bought our house, my fiancee lost his job. That was tough, but we made it through. He's a registered Democrat, I blame that for his bad job luck! We're now on track to pay off our school loans this year, and hopefully pay off the house in 6-8 years. Financial matters, investing, saving, etc... that is my third love. I hope to be a stay at home mom some day so we're trying to make that easily happen with our frugal nature. Hubby may be registered (D) but nearly every value he has screams (R) - except for his views on energy, he's all about forcing companies to make electric cars and limiting drilling in ANWR, etc.

But back to the blog, now that you know a bit about me. I'm just going to give my two cents on issues and hopefully others can read and enjoy- maybe even agree. My parents listened to Rush Limbaugh every day when I was younger so it's natural I got the political bug. I hope you enjoy!
